Microorganisms in the Soil
With this kit students are able to culture soil samples from local sources to observe the nature of soil microbes. Students investigate the nutritive and non-nutritive components in the soil samples. A dozen pairs of students have materials for one 45-minute class period to be followed by observations over the next three to four days.
