K-B Conversion Std To Hvy Duty.
K-B® Conversion Weight Convert a medium K-B Corer to a heavy K-B Corer, simply by exchanging the head assembly bases. The heavy K-B head assembly base weighs 13.6 kg (30 lbs), and is 152 mm (6") in diameter by 152 mm (6") in length. This conversion base will increase the weight of the medium K-B corer by 22 lbs to allow for better penetration in tough sediments.
