This inexpensive, simple, and versatile apparatus is a rich source of experimental data for studying the conservation of momentum and kinetic energy in both elastic and inelastic collisions in two dimensions. The constant fall time to the floor is used to convert displacements to velocities, which with masses become momentum vectors. Includes heavy gauge platform, steel, glass, and wood balls. Requires a C-clamp for mounting on a table edge.
